Based in North Ayrshire, they operate an investment casting foundry expertly casting in a range of materials, including stainless steels, alloys and aluminium.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in undertaking both electrical and mechanical planned preventative maintenance, servicing, and breakdowns of our specialist foundry equipment. Your days will involve keeping our furnaces, injection moulding presses, and specialist foundry equipment running smoothly, enabling us to deliver top-notch products to our clients. You will be at the forefront of our operational excellence, assisting the production team, prioritising maintenance requests, and contributing to plant improvement projects, all while ensuring the highest safety and compliance standards are met.
Hours of Work: Full Time: Monday Thursday 7.30am 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am 12.30pm (39 hours per week)
Maintenance Engineer Requirements:
- Time-served engineer with an electrical bias and excellent mechanical maintenance capabilities
- Minimum HNC qualification and good knowledge of 415V electrical skills
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding and repair skills
- Desirable welding/fabrication skills
- PAT testing experience/qualification
